My Reaction to Zeitgeist the Movie (for the record) — Pluto enters Capricorn

This movie has some great images.  I wish it had stopped there.  The words are not worthy of the message.

I’m sure it’s a movie many people will be sending me in the near future to see what I think so I’ll go on record as saying it’s negative, polarizing and does just what it accuses others of doing.  It also shows an alarming unawareness of history and therefore a foreshortened lens of perception.

Let’s focus on the positive.  That’s the more God like view.  The future, my dear friends and readers, is a STATE OF MIND.  Let’s keep ours conscious.

But it’s a great way to say good bye to Pluto in Sagittarius.  When Pluto moves into Capricorn next January 2008 it won’t be about religions any more, it will  be about resources.

The current trouble brewing in the UK is the best harbinger I’ve seen of the issues that will begin to gradually replace our concerns with the Middle East.  I refer to the Litvinenko affair and the recent expulsion of four Russian diplomats from the UK and the reaction to that.  Putin has been saber rattling at the US lately as well, nationalizing resources, undermining business and possibly hastening Russia’s slide back into the Third World.  Russia’s desire and ability to be part of the “western world” has always been problematical and we are going to see another full cycle of that, it looks like.

This is an interesting article in the BBC about “what the Cold War really meant”.

My advice as an astrologer is that it would be a good time to brush up on that particular history and that particular part of the world.  Another Pluto in Capricorn locale is Alaska.

I will  begin writing more about Pluto’s egress into Capricorn in the weeks ahead.
