Who is David Ricardo?

If you know who David Ricardo is, you’re as interested in economics as the next guy!  David Ricardo was a classical economist, contemporary of Thomas Malthus, a Sefardic London Jew who distinguished himself as a Unitarian, banker, financier and speculator.  To the field of economics he contributed his focus on the conflict between landowners, labor and capital.

I’ve just finished an article on the astrology charts of the great economists:  Adam Smith, David Ricardo, Thomas Malthus, Karl Marx, John Stuart Mill, John Maynard Keynes,  Irving Fisher and others.

What would these “Worldly Philosophers” have in common?  Click here to discover:  www.bemyastrologer.com/charts_of_famous_economists.html.

For a nifty 20+ page booklet on the history and development of economics through these great men (great for kids):    http://www.frbsf.org/publications/education/greateconomists/great.pdf
